Walk San Bernardino – Vernazza – Monterosso - San Bernardino
Circular hike San Bernardino - Corniglia - Vernazza - San Bernardino
In the Cinque Terre, above Vernazza, 300 meters above the sea. In a medieval village. Breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset. BBQ. Free parking. Shuttle service to and from Vernazza. On request pick up at the rail-station. Peer-to-peer with the owner Andrea.
- Start San Bernardino church - We go
507/7 1 KM down to Vernazza - In Vernazza, at the bottom of the harbor on the right side between the houses, we find the Sentiero Azzuro 2d - Beware a lot of traffic and you require admission (7.50 € per person) - In 3.3 km we reach Monterosso - Variant 1 you return to Vernazza by boat - Variant 2 take the train back to Vernazza - Variation 3 you get on the 509/9 Santuario Nostra Signora di Soviore with 2 KM and 465 vertical meters - The next 2.6 KM go up and down - The last part of our hike we follow the 581 / 8a to San Bernardino (3.7 KM) - Alternative you can also drive to Vernazza and get in the parking lot (fee required)
- Start San Bernardino church
- Behind the parking lot of the 507 begins the hiking trail
- It goes evenly uphill and you cross a few streets
- At the junction after about 2.5 KM we go to Corniglia the trail 7a or 587th
- After a 1 KM you come to the road and from now on it goes steeply downhill to Corniglia
- After you have strengthened yourself in Corniglia, continue on the famous Sentiero
Azzuro
- Beware a lot of traffic and maan requires entrance fee (€ 7.50 per person)
- After 3,2 KM you step on Vernazza
- Before Vernazza we follow the hiking sign 507 to San Berardino
- Hiking an hour 667 vertical meters 1 KM high
